February Program

Modern people take thread for granted.  We have it in our homes in several forms.  Take a journey through history and learn how thread weaves it way from the earliest string skirts to fashions on the Paris runways.  See how the processes of making something from thread have been not only art itself, but also the subject of art through the ages.  Hear how people create art in new ways and use old methods of weaving and knitting to make the Art of Thread.  We are happy to welcome back Paula for another of her informational and engaging discussions.  Mark your calendars now so you don't miss this exciting lecture.
