Take a look at some of the beautiful projects our members have recently completed!

Dale's first Fair Isle

The pattern that I used for my Christmas stocking was
from a book titled : Christmas Stockings/ 18 Holiday
Treasures to Knit. (2001)  Lipson, Elaine (ed.). Interweave Press.
It was a fun project.. not boring.
I used Lion Brand Yarn/ Wool-Ease/worsted weight
...and purchased it at Joanne's. The pattern said to cast on
128 stitches, but because of the yarn, I only casted on 80 stitches.
The pattern suggested 2 ply jumper weight yarn.

Betty's Counterpane Sweater

"The counterpane motif I used is called Margaret Murray's pattern,
from Mary Walker Phillips' book, Knitting Counterpanes."
The yarn is a sort of cotton string that came on an unlabeled cone
(one of those bargain buys . . . ).  I used needles that I made
myself from piano wire and they are somewhere
between standard size 0 and size 1."
